The Upper Willamette Community Development Corporation (CDC) is the agency in the Oakridge/Westfir area that operates the Food Bank, LIEAP (Low Income Energy Assistance Program) and emergency medical needs.

Each year we serve over 250 households with Food Boxes and this year distributed $65,000 in energy assistance funds.

We would like to thank the Stewart Foundation for their donation of $5000.00 toward the purchase of a new truck for transporting food. Food for Lane County also gave us $400.00 toward the truck. THANK YOU! We have just purchased a truck for $5500.00. We have some repair to do but hope to have it in operation by the end of April.

We would also like to thank Mike and D’Lynn Williams, Vern Huber and Bob Duncan for helping us transport the food over the last year. THANK YOU!

We hope to be having a fundraising concert this summer so watch this space for information.
