Oakridge Public Library Catalog

To access the library catalog, click the link above. The library circulation policy including how to obtain a library card and how long items may be checked out is located here. Library users can also check out materials at any of the Lane Libraries partner libraries with their home library card using the Lane Libraries app. Patrons may also request items by calling the library or sending an email.

Note that all Oregon non-fiction books are located in a single section of the library. Come in and check out our Oregon Collection. We also have a free Central Cascades Wilderness Permit that may be checked out for up to two weeks. Ask at the front desk for the pass.

If you want to read books on your phone or tablet we have instructions for Library2Go at the front desk. There are hundreds of titles available on Library2Go.

Organizations may apply to use the Oakridge Public Library facilities for meetings, workshops, etc. Look for the procedure to use the library here.

Volunteers are always encouraged to apply. This will allow the library to have more open hours in the future.

They cover a wide range of topics and offer research and life-long learning information for all ages. All Oregon residents have access to online resources provided by the State Library of Oregon. Oakridge Public Library Book Drop

Oakridge Public Library Book Drop

The Oakridge Public Library now has a book return in front of the Oakridge Pharmacy. This book drop is FINE-FREE!  If you have an overdue book and owe a fine on it and if you drop it in the Hwy 58 book drop no fines will be levied. You may also drop any books in the book drop that need to be returned. This outdoor book return was made possible by a grant from the State Library with funds provided by ARPA (American Rescue Plan Act).

Oakridge Seed Library

Oakridge Seed Library

The seed library is a collection of vegetable and flower seeds from which you can borrow to plant in your garden. Patrons can check-out up to three packets of seeds for free and there is no obligation to return seeds. However, by saving seeds as a community we help create local seed stocks that are better acclimated to our climate and soils. The seed library is dependent on donations and availability is limited.

Look for the seed library cabinet located in the main library. Check here (PDF) for how to save seeds from your own garden so you can return them and support the seed library.
