City of Oakridge COVID-19 Precautionary Measures

To the Oakridge Community:

As we all take measures to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 I want to share a brief summary of Oakridge operations. I also want to assure you that your City is participating in all County and State meetings to stay abreast of the situation and provide our community with information and services in this critical time. I urge each of you to sensibly and calmly take precautions and be alert for neighbors who may need assistance. As the situation changes we will update the information on the website.

CITY HALL: Currently City Hall will remain open for essential services only with normal operating hours. If your visit isn’t essential, please consider postponing until a future time.

POLICE: Our police Dept is operating as usual and are taking the necessary precautions to prevent exposure from others, as well as to sanitize and prevent exposure to others.

FIRE and EMS: The Fire Department BUILDING is now closed to the public to prevent unintended contamination by walk-in customers. Walk-in’s at the Fire Dept. will be assessed outside the building before admittance. All operations are running as normal with the exception of drills for volunteers which are being cancelled for the time being.

LIBRARY: The Oakridge Library is closing to the public.

MEETINGS: For the next week March 15th to 21st, all City Meetings are cancelled. The OEDAC meeting on Monday March 16 will occur and is being used to test drive the GO TO MEETING function that we are setting up for use by committees and Council after the 21st . We will reassess this on Friday.

PARKS: All City Parks will remain open at this time. Please follow the guidelines set out for keeping each other healthy.
