Mayor and City Council Vacancies Notice of General Election 2022

NOTICE OF ELECTION
OF MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL MEMBERS
FOR THE CITY OF OAKRIDGE

Notice is hereby given that on November 8, 2022 an election will be held for the purpose of electing a Mayor and three (3) persons to the Oakridge City Council to fill the following positions:  Council positions: Mayor four (4) year term and City Council three (3) four-year terms.  Each candidate for an office listed above must be a resident of the City of Oakridge for at least one full year prior to the election and a registered voter of the City of Oakridge.  Oakridge City staff is not eligible for candidacy.  Election packets may be picked up at Oakridge City Hall, 48318 E. 1st Street, Oakridge, during normal business hours starting June 15, 2022 or you can print it off of the website.  Perfected petitions must be submitted to Jackie at City Hall, no later than August 24, 2022 to ensure Lane County Elections can verify signatures. Petitions received after August 30, 2022 5:00 pm at the Lane County Elections office will not qualify for inclusion on the November General Election Ballot.
