Oakridge Westfir Signage and Wayfinding

On April 3, 2014, the Oakridge City Council voted to adopt the Oakridge Westfir Wayfinding Plan. This is a comprehensive set of signs to direct visitors to Oakridge's parks, trails, and services. Phase One of the plan was completed with funding from the Oakridge Westfir Tourism Alliance and Travel Oregon (through the Rural Tourism Studio Program) and included input from the cities of Oakridge and Westfir, Lane County, ODOT, Willamette National Forest, UBRA, the Chamber of Commerce, GOATS, IMBA, Oregon Travel Experience, and Travel Lane County.

The next steps in the project will be to explore and locate funding, then moving to Phase Two (Design) and Phase Three (Implemenation).
